This page is added in loving memory of my father, Robert O. (Bozo) Darnell.

Many of you remember Bozo Darnell, the man and his music. He left pretty large boots to fill. First  and foremost
he was a good father and of course a great friend. Dad was a man of many talents.  He could catch a fish, clean
and cook it while the rest of us were baitin' our hooks. He almost always caught the first, most, biggest fish and
for sure always had the biggest fish story to tell. He's the only man I ever knew that didn't see no harm in puttin'
a stringer of smelly fish in the back floorboard of a new Cadillac.

Dad was a great songwriter and through the years had many of his songs recorded by many great country
artists. Among those who had success with Dad's songs were
David Houston, Wynn Stewart, George Jones,
Keith Whitley, Tom Wopat, Waylon Jennings, Hugh X. Lewis, Gene Watson, Bonnie Owens, Bobby
Barnett. The Earl Scruggs Review
and the list goes on. He was and is respected by his peers in the Country
Music Industry for his many contributions as an
Artist/Singer/Songwriter/Entertainer/Publisher/Manager and
Friend.

"Your Steppin' Stone", "Down Came The World", "Sha Marie", "Eli Funkleby", "Down The Drain", "Coast
To Coast" , "My Sweet Woman's Love", "The Bottom Of The Glass", and "Gone Fishin"
are only a few of
the thousands of songs penned by
Bozo Darnell. I always include a couple of Dad's songs at each of my
performances. Although he's gone, he's still an inspiration to me. He literally gave his life to Country Music. At
times his accomplishments may be overlooked but there are Giants in this business who are eternally grateful for
the songs, the music and the man.
We will miss Him!
Over 20 of Bozo Darnell's  songs have been
taken from vinyl and put to CD.
This CD is available for $20.00 plus shipping.
